Interesting day. Snowed like crazy on the way to school. About 2 to 3 inches total. 5 students sick. We went to Olympia Junior Programs to watch Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters. Only 14 of my students went! 3 didn't have permission slips or money and then the sick ones. What a shame.
Back today after 3 days off. Seems like I was gone longer. Now to catch up on correcting papers, finish planning for this week, and get back into the groove of things.
Nothing worse than going in to make sub plans when you feel terrible. Did for the third day in a row and I hope the kids can do well for one more day.
"Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters" was one of my favorite children's books that I used to read to my children.
